Tupware was started in 1997 as a multimedia production company that produces video, websites, web video, powerpoint, slideshows and engineering for the internet, broadcast, live events and other forms of image and information presentation. Tup Wright is the founder of the site who started his career in 1990 working as a production assistant, grip, gaffer, camera, etc., on features, commercials, music videos, corporate video, and other forms of motion picture. Tup worked as the general manager for Filmlites, a studio and motion picture rental company. Toward the mid 1990's he moved into internet technology and began working as a SMIL designer and video editor at Real Networks. He then moved on to Mountainzone.com and Quokka Sports (merger) where he held the title of multimedia engineer. Tupware has produced remote / live broadcasts via the web from all over the world, including Mt. Everest. Tupware became a full service freelance multimedia company in the early 2000's, servicing live events for Good Morning America from Mount Everest, gigantic Powerpoint, flash and video presentations for Starbucks Annual meeting and Leadership Conferences. Similarly for Red Robin and Microsoft. Tupware has also produced several commercials for local advertising agencies and support for other production companies. These clients include the Larson Automotive Group, SHAG, Moneytree, Vern Fonk Insurance, Out Today Plumbing, Continental, GMC, Issaquah Salmon Days and the Seattle Seahawks. |
